Problems and Solutions for your Problems
In the everyday world of embroidery we are faced with many problems and situations that can really cause a huge headache. I have had to encounter so many different situations in my 30 years that I cannot even remember all of them. I will try to cover the most common ones in this section.
There are times when someone will come into the shop and ask to have a name removed. This can be a very traumatic experience if you do not know how to handle it. It really is a simple task, but it is far from simple if you do not know how to go about it.
In this section I will go over the tools that I use and the following situations:
- Removing Embroidery!
- Replacing Embroidery to cover the same area!
- Stitches missing in a letter!
- Covering up the dark background of a fabric so that it does not show thru the embroidery!
- How to soften up a stiff cap front to embroider more easily!
- Bobbin thread showing on top!
- Bobbin Tension Problem!
- Design that popped out of the hoop before it was finished!
These are not the only problems that you will face. There will be many more, but these are some of the basic ones and with the knowledge of how to fix these problems it will make it easier to find a solution for others.
